Zospeum is a state-of-the-art façade concept consisting of prefabricated sandwich elements embedded with optical fibres that transmit natural daylight.

It is a smart, self-supporting façade system that combines high-performance thermal insulation with daylight transmission.

By integrating optical fibres, stone wool and mineral composite in an innovative way, Zospeum brings together a unique combination of performance characteristics in a single façade element. The system provides daylight while delivering excellent thermal and acoustic insulation, outstanding fire resistance, structural robustness and a fully self-supporting design. In addition, Zospeum is prefabricated for efficient installation and designed according to circular construction principles.

Zospeum enables buildings to benefit from natural daylight in a sustainable way. With an average thermal resistance (Rc value) of 5.0 m²K/W, heat loss in winter and heat gain in summer are significantly reduced, contributing to excellent overall energy performance.
